Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

I'll check out the movie @GezzaP thank you for suggesting it to me. I mentioned Ayn Rand because her philosophies are the guiding principle for Liberal think tanks and she is quite big in academia. The story of her life though didn't live up to her beliefs though. I am all for self determination and directed effort but when she got ill she had to accept the charity of friends and family which she admonished others of throughout her life. Theres something to be said about her ideas in terms of personal agency which some people could definitely work on but when the body is ailing and people fall on hard times her philosophies just dont stack up

@TAB thanks for posting this. My Prime Amazon subscription was just sitting there. I had to cancel recently as it was costing me $13/month and wasn't watching any movies. Renting will work out cheaper. Will watch on you tubeTV with the rent option. Affordable if you only watch movies every now and then compared to having a monthly subscription

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@GezzaP I saw a photo of Ayn Rand years ago and I thought shes not the kind of person you would accept philosophy from. I got into political philosophy after attending a church fete on the corner of my street and bought a book there.

Little did I know the parish minister, an Australian was an advisor to UK Prime Minister's Tony Blairs kitchen cabinet on the political philosophy of "The Fourth Way"

I read some documentation on The Fourth Way and saw this exact Anglican minister on TV which was surprising. I thought hey wow I need to know more of this and somehow was able to get information about The Fourth Way and what it was about.

It was mainly to do with the empowerment of the underpriviledged and what stuck in my mind is how the poor simply don't take risks. It was a long time ago. All I wanted to do was attend a fete and somehow wound up learning about The Fourth Way
