yeah @TAB , when mr Shorten tried to remove capital gains, negative gearing and franking credits they lost the unloseable election.
i worry about the Trump effect as a lot of Australians are wanting to have the same policies here, im on board with australia first but you can't remove yourself from the wider world, it is just not viable nor is it beneficial.
i am really a fan of the Chinese way of governance having a capitalist system with a socialist undertone. everyone is supported and infrastructure is state owned but private enterprise can operate if they do so responsibly. if they don't they have their company taken away and nationalized. i believe taking good parts from all governance systems and using them for the greater good.
