I’m getting a solar battery @SmilingGecko . in early January.

@GezzaP I did look into solar batteries but I am possibly looking at a Generac. Have been researching this for over a year. Many disability residential care centres have them. It draws on the gas supply if theres an outage to power your appliances. I think they are also hybrid so you can use another fuel source if the gas is down. Will make a decision in the next month or so about what I choose to do. Got to get more info while things are in limbo

Atm there is a government rebate but won’t last much longer so you need to decide on battery soon @SmilingGecko . I am so sick of paying for power in Winter despite having solar panels so decided to withdraw some super and do some home maintenance jobs. Getting roller shutters installed today. This’ll mean all my doors and windows have shutters,

Been quiet in my little patch of the Valley, we had some awesome skyworks and thunder Tuesday night and despite BOM saying there'd be lots of rain it wasn't that much.

Good for the garden though.
