What’s ttr? @TAB it’s spitting a bit here i will still walk up to the shop - don’t carr if I get a bit wet.

i’m on a super pension. Defined benefit so pension is for life. Goes up with inflation each financial year. Being over 60 means I don’t pay tax. So I do ok but sometimes struggle to cover all my bills. At 67 I’ll get a part pension and most important a pension card. My meds are really expensive.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

oh okay, I didnt have much super and thought better to spend it while I can @GezzaP

I've had a pension card for 7years now even though I was working casual til few years ago.House was paid cash from inheritance, still got some of it left after like 4 years.

Pension card really kicks in for home owners , had it renting and own home, get more discounts seems. if you can get part age pension , why not part DSP? just a thought.

there are commonwealth cards for over 65 or whatever as well think. I got a seniors card so free public transport when go to Adelaide and like $25to get bus to Adelaide from here , which I should do .maybe go on dole and get one cos over 55 ,guess too late if have 'retired'. i get scripts for $7 and the last 12 or so were free as had gone over threshold for the year, bulk billing at drs and some charges at private specialists , hosp free.

anyway, I applied for super this morning, had been putting it off. so probs get $6k or so, which should keep me going with dole for a few months.

yes, wet not bad solong as can dry off after lol

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

TTR is transition to retirement @GezzaP after super age (58 for me) can withdraw even if not retired. I set up an account specify how much I want and how its to be paid re frequency

lot rules. only supposed to be able to withdraw 10% at a time, so switch super to TTR,take 10% in annual lump sum, I then close TTR and put it back in super , then rinse and repeat only supposed to do it once a year , think my record is 7x
