Is this a relatively new problem, @SmilingGecko, or a long-standing problem? I don't know how long you've lived there, but I have to wonder if it's the reason the previous owner sold?
There's not a lot of internet advice that isn't re-stating the obvious—like sealing entry points etc., but apparently bees don't like strong smells. One suggestion is to spray equal quantities of vinegar and water (at their potential entry point, I guess), another is to use citronella. I guess it's all a matter of trial and error.
Let's hope those several bees weren't scouts.

I think they were scouts as there were a handful of them checking out the window @Historylover They were all kind of buzzing around. I sprayed the indoors cracks with surface spray and youre right they did not like the strong smell. I've been living here for ages. Dont know the reason for selling but girl who used to live here worked in a new age shop and she had a romeo stalking her. He was able to get a hold of my phone number as it matched this address and was desperate to get in contact with her. He sounded like he was obsessed with this woman for some reason. Never heard from him again after that. He must have given up. Don't remember if he came or the door or not it was so long ago but yeah a desperado.

No worries @Bunniekins . Nice lazy day. Walked up shops. Then slept for two and half hours. We have had a thunderstorm for a couplevof hours now with some rain. Garden will love it. Put my indoor plants outside to get rained on. Lunch in the oven. Having panacotta again. Will watch women’s footy in the afternoon and probably snooze s bit more as I hardly slept last night. Tomorrow if it’s not raining too much I will put soil wetter and fertilizer on the garden.
Hope you are well.

OK, @SmilingGecko, I think you'll have to stay on top of the situation with smells in potential sites. 50/50 vinegar-water solution spray is inexpensive and may put them off. How often? I'd go overboard!!
Sounds like the previous resident had a difficult situation to deal with, too.
Good luck with the bees.

The day is travelling along here, @GezzaP. No rain and the temperature hasn't reached the expected high yet. Have a good afternoon!

@Historylover I'm going to look into your suggestion with 50/50 water/vinegar. The can of insect spray I bought was $17 and I had another in my cart as I didn't want bees! I was just glad they were gone but will do the vinegar thing. I will look it up. Thankyou for this frugal suggestion. Vinegar is pennies compared to surface spray. At least I didn't have to call someone out yesterday but will see how I go with vinegar

Yes great for indoor plants. @Bunniekins They enjoy a goid soak and it gets all the dust of their leaves. Yes looking forward to my afternoon. We had such a loud thunderclap I jumped. Storm must’ve been right over top.
