@SmilingGecko it's an old school boy band 😂. It will either be overnight or 2 nights. All very good questions, I don't have friends to stay with. So will have to find somewhere to stay, I'll be heading over with a friend and it looks like she will be driving us there. Haven't worked out any other details yet other than having the tickets for the concert 😂.

You could always stay in a hostel or something. Theres plenty of those around the place @MissGremlin Its cheap compared to overnight hotel stays. I have a friend in country Victoria and whenever he came to Melbourne he would stay in a hostel. I just checked out the band I think I may be 10 or more years older than you. We were from the Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Prince & The Revolution era of the 80's

Are you seeing the band at the MCG? Theres a hostel up the main road where the MCG is in north Richmond. You just hop on a bus and its a few minutes away along Hoddle Street @MissGremlin

@MissGremlin Yeah I'm familiar with Rod Laver Arena at the tennis centre. Theres a tram that stops straight outdoors. I've been to the tennis once we got free tickets and we caught the tram in. Its easy enough to get to from the CBD. I was born in 1969 so I'm 56 years old
