Yes, the music is beautiful in Rinaldo, @SmilingGecko, and gets better as it goes along. I crave culture too and—equally importantly—education! Oh, what I'd give to be able to sing like that! The training must be intense and lifelong. And the musicians' skills too are exquisite. I've never been to a ballet, but it doesn't hold the same appeal for me. I'd still like the experience though. Perhaps it would impress me more live.

I did get books from the library. I'm filling my spare time catching up with neglected reading at the moment. Perhaps it will just be a phase but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. The Libby app sounds handy for magazines.

@Historylover just pacing myself and not overdoing things. I think there used to be something called Arts Access where disabled could get along to venues. I don't know if it would cover ballet or opera. I think you would love ballet. I saw a modern adaptation of Swan Lake which going by the newspaper reviews got many purist audience members annoyed. The other ballet was like picnic under the stars with ballet. There was a huge inflatable stage in the park. I think it would have been great for families. It was of course free. My ex-partner and I used to do lots of outings. But I love watching culture on you tube. I noticed the new rail tunnel addition to the loop has been built. I might go and check it out when its open over the next few months. Was thinking of my ex-sister-in-law and brother-in-law and biological brother with my both nieces. I'm a bit like you having folks cut themselves out of your life. It worked out for the best anyway. I have no complications or questionable difficult relations with them and my life is happy but I do wonder what happened to them all

Good Morning @TAB got my crystal mojo bag filled with new crystals and am about to meditate. Lawnmower man comes today, the back has grown a bit so will have order again. Its being cut after a full moon so it wont grow back as fast. Saves dollars that way. Had my garden beds weeded after a full moon recently and none of them have grown back. It can take months for the weeds to come through when done this way. If you ask AI it will confirm what I'm saying.

@PeppyPatti I am up to my armpits in peoples ideas and suggestions for woodworking.

@Glisten I hope you will be ok I'm under the impression you have to vacate the A-frame your friends put you up in. That would be very stressful. Do you have anywhere else to go?
