@TAB why is it that truck drivers think they should earn more money? I'm no doubt very naive but given all you do is sit in a cab all day and do deliveries I don't see why you should be getting mucho bucks.
I hope you don't take offence at this either, that is certainly not my intention my dear Tabby 🙂

@TAB yeah I can understand for long haul drivers, I was more thinking of the metro drivers.
If 80k is what long haul drivers get then that's absolute BS. They definitely should earn more.

I'm out of date @ENKELI I spoke to fuel road train driver on site not long after got my licence so wanted to chat. he was on like $5 an hour more than me at busted mine site
loader drivers etc on mines around $60 and hour now. 'my' mechanic with his cert3 ok and years of experience charges $120/hr for 1 man business ie no overheads I;ve had a feeble 70 ish sparky fix a power point problem he dragged10 min job out to close enough to an hour and charged me like $100for 10mins work
I'm going to teach myself to be a plumber and fix taps, nothing else . $50/hr Cash..plus min charge plus call out ok $50 to change a tap washer. @Bill16

@TAB yeah I wish my brother was more useful...I mean handy! Mind you he did a good job replacing the kitchen tap so I shouldn't complain.
We have the tree guys coming tomorrow to remove a tree that has caused heaps of damage. Best quote was $2000 and they take the tree away. No doubt to sell as firewood so double profit lol.

@TAB that sounds like it would have been a massive job.
The tree I'm having removed is relatively easy so the arborist said.
