Hello @StuF how is your family coping with the cost of living? I just checked my sums for my budget and only have $1000 per month left. Was so glad when I got solar power when I did several years back. The electricity bills for a lot of people are a real issue. This time of year my bill is zero because of solar. Spoke to my utilities provider and there are so many people who are living under hardship and can't pay their bills. I also try and keep overheads down. Many of the middle classes are basically high overheads due to family mortgages/high rents running vehicles and work related expenses plus hefty taxes. The middle class are taxed the highest. You wonder when all this cost of living crisis is going to end? The government is now wanting the public to have home modifications to meet their environmental targets, so its more money coming out of peoples pockets. I really feel for the middle class as well as the working class. Don't know who has it worse off ?
