To be honest, @SmilingGecko, I don't remember the last time I watched one. I'd forgotten it was possible. Ronaldo used to be a favourite of mine. I just loved the music. I've seen half of The Barber but the library now beckons. I'll finish it later.

@TAB bwa ha ha! My brother has a friend who just called their cat Puss Puss.
My great uncles called their cat Meowdy and my grandparents called their cat Shandy. Probably after the drink as my Pop liked his beer.
I think Dogger is a great name for a cat. I named my Siamese fighting fish Fluffy and Fluffy Too.

@Historylover I'll check if its on you tube. Never heard of it before. Will read reviews of different Opera companies. Might go and make some apricot delight for now. I don't go to our local library much anymore but I read their magazines from home for free on the Libby app on my desktop

@SmilingGecko Soleil is a perfect name for her 😍
Yes, only 20% of ginger cats are female due to genetics.
My sister is the only other cat owner I know with a female ginger.
When I first got Mal he was still in his kitten stage so still very playful. I used to call him the Ginja Ninja!

@ENKELI that is an interesting factoid regarding ginger female cats and genetics! I wasn't aware of it. Ginja Ninja is funny 😊 We all seem to have have floofy names for our pets! My previous pet was a border collie x which I got from the RSPCA. He was a lovely dog but unfortunately high vet expenses. Glad I signed onto pet insurance or I wouldn't have been able to afford the vet bills. This one paid up while all the other insurance companies seemed unreliable and many financially folded. He was really high maintenance and required palliative care in the end. Caring for a sick animal can really take it out of you but he enjoyed quality of life until he passed away. It took me a long time between pet ownership to be willing to take on this cat as the responsibility of caring for my dog was a huge task. I wouldn't of had it any other way though! ❤️

@SmilingGecko female ginger cats need to have both parents have the ginger gene, whereas males only need one.
I completely understand regarding getting another pet after you've suffered the loss of a previous loved animal.
I had a border collie, Kelly. She is the reason I will never get another dog. She was the best dog ever (yes everyone says that about their doggos!). Kelly developed arthritis as she got older and the pain medication the vet put her on made her incontinent. She started getting flyblown so the vet said the only real option was to say goodbye. I was heartbroken as I thought at 13 she still had plenty of years left, and maybe it was my fault that she had arthritis (how I don't know but I still felt guilty). The vet told me that border collies live between 12 and 15 years so I felt better then.
