Thats great news with your cat @TAB. I've just been doing acupressure research this afternoon. Am about to do a massage with one of these. Its very relaxing. It brings down my BP. I usually target my calves which are known as the second heart in TCM. I've noticed dramatic results with the relaxation state I get into and my systolic and diastolic readings after doing calves.

yes, finally acknowledging the B.obvious that cats 'mine' and taking responsiblity for it .
your turn next lol. I tried subsidy places, like $105 and wait list vet $125 so cant be bothered
getting other stuff done too, which reduces the cost when all done together like $270 all up so thats do-able than needs vaccinating again in 6mths time @SmilingGecko

They have a charity called my pet emergency crisis I think its called if you can't afford vet bills. Its away to keep people on low incomes with their pets. Don't know if it services your area I was under the impression it was Australia wide @TAB It might be something worth checking out now and keeping their phone number in your address book. Saw a disabled lady recently on facebook who could not afford a hefty bill running into several thousand for her chihuaha. She did a go fund me and many people in her facebook community donated.

@TAB yep Tabby, the cat is yours. He knew a kind hooman when he met you lol!
He's a lovely looking boy too and unlike my ginger he seems to have more than one brain cell!
Glad to hear you're getting him to the vet. You're a good person 🙂

@TAB yep, he saw you coming! ba ha ha!
I do not judge, all of my cats have been rescues. I had a beautiful grey tabby who took a liking to me while I was house sitting for his parents. He wandered into their house one day and new my friend was a sucker for animals. When they moved to Tasmania they were trying to decide whether to take him or not and I agreed to take him. My friends' husband, not a cat lover, nearly hit the roof with joy because he knew I'd take care of the cat. He was named Thumper because he would get up on his back paws and thump at their French windows. We had him for many years, then one day he just disappeared. Cats will do that if they are ill so we suspect he knew his time was up. I was sad that I didn't get to bury him along with my other cats.
One day I'll tell you the story of Loki - he saw me coming from a mile off!
Mal's former owners split up and they couldn't take him to their new homes. The guy who had adopted him suggested they just let him loose and he'd find a home. I wanted to strangle him because they lived on a highway and Mal would have been a goner in mere moments.
I am no greenie but when it comes to animal welfare I would take animals over humans any day.
Welcome to being owned by a cat my friend!

yeah, officially owned . been owned over 18mths now, has to have food it wants, when it wants .when jumps on bed well if Im already in, he knows to go to same spot where I can reach him to pat him and he doesnt get steamrolled by me rolling overlol .I have seen him crossing main road several times but not recently. also one time he disappeared for days was hanging out 3 blocks away (like 500m) people on fb group told me
hopefully desexing will stop nightly small scars and roaming so much, He must know who to pick on as not been beaten up badly in a while now. @ENKELI

What's that @TAB ?
I'm having another snooze. Been freaking out all day. A poor ol' homeless man has parked himself at the lifts and asking to stay at someone's flat to sleep.
