Got some dulse and dragonfruit for my smoothies coming in the mail. How is your back going? Thats good you were able to squeeze in a walk to the shops. I'm not doing much today. Do you know what you are doing today? My lawnmower man is dropping by to do some much needed pruning in the front yard.

@Glisten hope you're not with Vodafail Tomaatti!! I stupidly switched 10 years ago and have been considering switching back to the Big T but haven't got round to it. I wish the T was cheaper with their plans though.

@ENKELI I’ve been with Telstra since you worked there. $120? per month Shared data between my iPhone and iPad no extra charges. Because I own my own devices.

@Glisten I was a loyal Telstra subscriber until I got sucked in by a friend who is a re-seller for Voda. She's one of those people who only contacts me when she wants me to get my phone or electricity through her pyramid scheme. Internet has always been with Telstra though.

I am out of contract so I should check Telstra again.

The Wicked Lying

I know the wicked truly hate me deeply.
That much no longer surprises me.
The real wound is how easily they rule me
through lies that drag me into their pits.

They are always near, casting their nets,
waiting for what is good to fall
into the hands of what is cruel.
Below, in those darkened chambers,
their voices never stop speaking.

I wish I were no longer prey to abuse.
Too many years have vanished into this struggle.
Few truly care, fewer still will help,
and no one seems able to deliver me from it,
leaving my reality languishing in the deepest depths.
The hurt grows heavier than anyone can carry.

What reaches me most are malicious whispers,
lies spreading like fire through withered flowers,
rage returned for every warning I gave
about the disasters I could already see coming.

Where on earth is there safety
from tongues that know only cruelty?
How I long to wake from this blindness,
to hear clearly,
to finally step out of the dark—

the lies believed
still holding me captive,

instead of letting them go
so I may finally
be safely myself.
