@Appleblossom I really wish Dental costs were regulated and some items covered by Medicare.

Poor oral health increases the risk of heart disease. People with gum disease have double the risk of cardiovascular problems.

I saved heaps with govt dental system @Glisten go on waiting list ok couple yrs then they pay out heaps got first couple visits root canal virtually free. Then have to go off list for a year but they pay if in pain. $70 co-payment. They pay my dentist.

I agree @Glisten mostly my teeth have been good. I soak my seeds and nuts in yoghurt to soften them, but stopping almonds, and I like smoked almonds... poor me...lol. Just dont want to spend a grand out of pocket.

I love savoury food that I can eat hot or room temperature.
