@Meowmy You give people so much care. Thankyou for your kindness to me too.
its @TAB true - went to pool did up and back 25 metres 18 times. I’m about to agree to wrapping my body in white sheets and put a wet flannel on my forehead …….
the white sheets is so I can smell something clean whilst I recover from swimming.

Panic attacks can really overtake you even when its not expected @GezzaP You obviously have serious symptoms. I'm sorry you have to deal with being rattled by it, yes old age... I've started taking a supp again to reverse aging and treat my bones and joints. I'm hoping it will work for me. No side contraindications so far.
@StuF I will check out Lifeline on ebay to see if they have any books. I think people really need to know your depots are overflowing and could do with some patronage. It would make the job easier for the boys on the road.

Hey @SmilingGecko
We do sell enough really...it's just the volume of stuff that comes in that is of no worth to us...the rubbish is crazy...it just costs us money to recycle everything...and the mostly volunteer workforce can't keep up at times!

@StuF Thats a fair point. They really need to send it to recycling companies themselves though. There are recycling companies that pick up things like medicine blister packs, plastic zip lock bags, clothes that are too tatty for op-shops etc. I've used them in the past for things charities dont normally collect. I think if more people were conscious of costs involved instead of dumping stuff it would be very welcomed. There are recycling companies that take everything now, so you can enjoy zero waste. I've got to check whether they are doing my region or not but it cost me money for them to collect. I've since not been on facebook and may have mislaid their contact details. I think many of them have arrangements with local councils now

@SmilingGecko
Books can go in people's recycling bins at home!
DVDs, games, puzzles are trickier of course...
But yeah, if people just thought for a second, "Would I buy this in this condition?"...

I have bipolar type 1 @SmilingGecko . It manifests as depression or mania with risk of psychosis. I can’t take antidepressants because they push me into mania which is more risky. I can’t use st john’s wart for depression either. I don’t know if the panic attacks are bipolar linked or inherited from my father who had Generalised Anxiety Disorder with depression and panic attacks. My mother had bipolar disorder. So I have bad genes. I take meds for the bipolar and sleeping meds. My psychiatrist used to prescribe an anti-anxiety med to use as needed but won’t give it to me any more. I can’t recall why she stopped giving that to me. Just a case of having to cope on my own I guess. But right now I’m not coping very well.

hope everything is going well. I’m proud of you checking your mental health. I’m trying to do that too
but today I fell into bed never to swim again after swimming laps at the pool …..
