yes, smoking triggers. write down when you punched a dart and why , ie start consciously putting cigarette in your mouth and lighting it, not doing like me who can eat packs chips without thinking,

OR .. get patches ..the easy way .. dont beat yourself up ,its just reinforcing oh its too hard.

@TAB @GezzaP good ideas TABs. what worked for me over 30 years ago was getting to the point where they were making me physically sick and i gave them up cold turkey. yes just like that but it did take awhile. you will get there GezzaP xxx

Hello @GezzaP yes being a MI parent can be difficult for offspring. I saw a lot of it and the kids werent alltogether happy with it. I'm glad I did not have children. Kids need a childhood. I dont think its alltogether fair based on children of the MI whom I've met. Many of them wound up in foster care or just strongly disliking their parents

They are making me sick @Bunniekins . I’m resisting atm. The mornings are so hard. I’m working up to having another go at stopping cold turkey. I know I can resist. A dreary wintery morning here. I’m sitting with my oodie over my legs.

Morning @SmilingGecko . Yes it was hard having parents with MI. I’m also glad I didn’t have children. Trying to resist having another smoke here. Smoking is making me sick. Didn’t have success cutting back first thing this morning. Anything on for you today? Nothing on for me. Cold damp morning here this morning. Sitting with oodie over my legs. Have a good day.

Thanks @Bunniekins . Will be hard to resist smokes as still have smokes in the house but I’m trying to cut back first. Nothing much on today.

Thank you so much @Bunniekins . The battle begins today with trying to cut down while I still have smokes in the house. Then when I feel strong enough I’ll try to stop.
