Oh bummer you got rained on @SmilingGecko . Glad chakras are working for you. Rained overnight here but not today. Puss ate a bit of her dinner then went outside so I’ll probably have to get her in when I go to bed early again. Feeling a bit down today. Need to get out more.

Yes I can understand that @GezzaP its hard getting out and about at our age and starting over. I sometimes get down and lonely myself which can be a downward spiral. Getting out is a good strategy but I think having suitable people in our lives is key. Many of my friends are now deceased same with parents who died in my 30's. I have learned to be independent and self sufficient and live on my own. While its a excellent coping skill, like you I just yearn for folk of like mind. Anyway I dont know what the answer is but I thought I'd let you know my feelings on this.

Thanks @SmilingGecko . I need to give up the smokes and start walking again. I have few friends in Adelaide where I live. Both my parents had mental problems and were more a burden than someone to lean on when they were alive. I cannot discuss how my father passed on these forums. I go through lonely patches and get down sometimes. Hoping it won’t get into a full on downward spiral. Puss is on the bed where I’m shortly headed. I guess I’ll get over it. I’m usually ok. Bipolar is episodic not permanent.
