Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Its very cold and breezy here @TAB I'm so pleased I froze my unused chickpeas from the can. I always do that with legumes but was concerned that it might not cook through and have that extra crunchiness when roasted but I was surprised! Even after defrosting from freezer and getting rid of moisture with paper towels before tossing in the oven it turned out lovely and crunchy with my cauli salad. Its such a sumptuous recipe which I got from a dietician. It would have to be my all time favorite recipe

I didnt check the c@lories it was done by a dietician but tasted really lovely @TAB I think if anything the medjool dates would boost c@lories. Dunno about the rest of it. It doesnt seem to make my blood sugar go up either. But yeah chickpeas from freezer turned out great. It was rather surprising.

I’ve got a footy scarf and beanie for winter @SmilingGecko . Have got several warm jumpers and jackets. I really feel the cold except in bed. Footy good close game so far. It’s half time. Glad you enjoyed your lunch and got scarf. Have a good rest of the day. Do you reckon you’ll get out for a walk today or is it too wet?

It’s about 16 here too @TAB . Oh you’re up again. Maybe try to sleep at night. Footy close so far. I’m surprised North in front at half time. Stay warm. I’ve got oodie and puss on my lap.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@GezzaP its rainy cold and wet 11 degrees as of this morning. Dont think it went much higher today. Not walking weather but hopefully get onto it tomorrow. Its bucketing down at the moment. Dont want to get caught in a rain storm if it dries then suddenly rains again. I'm wearing my Oodie too. Is yours a big bulky blankety thing with the Oodie brandname? I think they may be the only company that makes these big fluffy garnments. They look good on but ever so warm from all the velvety fleece. I had a friend in the country where it gets really cold and snows and he had one so I thought it was a good idea to buy off season during summer from the Salvos.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Was only 13 here this morning now about 16, no rain where I am @SmilingGecko . Yes mine’s a proper oodie. Got it over my legs and puss is on my lap. Two close games so far in footy which is good. Nearly nodded off to sleep earlier. If I don’t feel too tired will watch night game. See how I go.

@ENKELI @Glisten @TAB @Cuddlebear @GezzaP @SmilingGecko @Meowmy

hey @ENKELI we are still moving aren’t we ? My step mum bless her cotton socks is calling me every day from Boston telling me living under their presidents regime-

I really do have to act like what would happen if we lived in a country with different rulings than Australia but in reality, I don’t think the American person cares too much about living in Australia.
I may be wrong though ……
