i met people who were in mines 70s and 80s, paid a lot of tax but did 8 hour days and could pay off a few houses every year. not even close to that in last 20 years.might get a house deposit in a year lol @Appleblossom most jobs I did were flat rate 12hrshifts ie hr1 samepay as hr 12 no penalties, then throw in labourhire etc way worse off now
