I wish they still put out a car video but that was like 30 years ago. Here is something I saw on the RACV website @TAB @GezzaP It has DIY advice but its all written - no video

Yep @TAB
And even if DJT pulls out tomorrow (ha!) Bibi will still be on his own crusade so the area will be a basket case anyway. Think we in for some (more) serious shit

I would be scared and anxious to attempt any car maintenance @SmilingGecko . I have a mechanic who gives me a good price and as a bonus picks up and returns car. I will not attempt any maintenance I don’t have enough knowledge but thanks anyway. Hope you have a good evening.

I’m too anxious about my lack of knowledge to try to do anything with car @TAB . I have a good and affordable mechanic who as a bonus picks up and returns car.

@StuF @TAB I am supposed to be going away for Easter and am wondering if I'll have enough fuel. So far WA hasn't run out of either regular 91 or diesel but it's only a matter of time. And what does the sleazy govt do? Create a new job role for some muppet to be fuel coordinator. That's going to help...

Yeah @GezzaP I wouldnt attempt it now it was so long ago but could change a tyre - my tyre got slashed outside a high rise area once and could change oil and add coolant plus pump up tyres. They were the essentials. I had a lovely mechanic but havent driven or owned a car close to 17 years. I think I would have lost a lot of confidence driving. My previous car's engine blew. I only had 3rd party insurance but now I wonder about the costs of keeping a car on the road these days with the oil crisis and insurance

Yep it’s expensive to keep car on the road but I have an economical small car @SmilingGecko . I lost my confidence since having an accident some years ago. It was my fault. Have to pass a medical test every year now.

@ENKELI any of the days my Retiisi. I hope you had a not horrible day in amongst all of the days.
Gardening/Landscaping found Portuguese millipedes, Black beetles and a shrub with fungal disease. A bin load of crap plastic, galvanised steel fittings etc etc.
Must load car. I’ll be back mid next week 🚗💨
