how much of hard drive are you using now ? i m using about 1/30th of that of top of my head

fun fact was told when by computer peeps who siad my computer not worth fixing.. if laptop lasts 5years thats all its expected to. I had a genuine made in Japan toshiba that lasted 12 years lol

another passing thought .. desktops waycheaper and less susceptible to damage and upgradable, I was told along my quest for new puter that laptop cannot be upgraded once you have it. not sure how true that is.

so , to me , other option is desktop, or desktop and notebook to carry around

half decent wifi is a must these days too

best I could get in caravan park was 4G and that could vary a lot as next to sports complex and other people in caravan park @Mustang67

@TAB The capacity of my hard drive is 237GB and I have used 236GB, but I also have other data on external hard drives.

I want to be able to put all my coin information on this laptop, so they are all in the same area, and i am not switching between two or more computers.

Unfortunately, because of the limited space we have in the caravan we don't have room for a desktop. It would take up over half of the table in the van. It is not a very big table.

Mum has unlimited NBN, so that is not a problem while we live here.

When we were in the caravan park, it was pretty sh*t quality with all the other people using it as well. I used to just use my phone data to run my laptop.

I was even vaguely considering buying like 10kg bag of flour oh and sugar and tea like old days lol I have filter jug as backup but its still icky .. I would let water sit in earthenware 15 liter container that once had filter in it, then put in filter jug in fridge so sort of double filtered , plus had time for chlorine to leach out and cooled

amgoing to filter water to house just plumb in caravan filters somehow lol hate tap water, so do plants, theyboom after actual rain, just survive on sh!tty chemical water

but yeah I get boxes of water to drink , filtered water for coffee.

haha I remember like 10 years ago or more , 10 liter water in kal used to be $11 at kal. that as before they were forced to bring in standard pricing lol so got perf prices like $3 then ha ha yes watch out for cats mine just supervised hanging clothes out on lineok and watering trees
