@SmilingGecko there's many reasons I wouldn't set up a gofundme campaign for myself. One is definitely my health but the other big one is shame and not feeling deserving of it.

I have looked up the FAA and bookmarked their site, as well as the South Australian branch. Thank you for the information @SmilingGecko And now I have another interest to keep me busy besides coin collecting.

@ENKELI @pearlmod I've been thinking we could get mods to contact CEO about @MissGremlin and discuss her housing insecurity.

So many people on low incomes facing housing problems. We have a page to raise funds for SANE why not a page to allocate funds to those in need in this community? That is more tangible than trotting out an emergency services line or homeless charity that offers nothing.

I spoke to a homeless woman a while ago online and she was big on the MI circuit and has made a huge contribution to the arts. She said the homeless services just cant offer anything. We definitely need something for this community that is tangible and can translate into addressing real need. Nobody should have to endure this hardship alone. If all you can do is trot out a charity that does nothing then what is the point? It pays a worker and ends up alienating the person going through hardship. There has to be a better way. Too many people are falling through the cracks

had a lovely hot choc talking passionately about mental health and advocacy with a couple people with whom I am working on a project with.

So it felt like a worthwhile day.
