@PeppyPatti we went to the Court all the time when I worked a hundred years ago in Stirling St. It was usually full of Telstra workers at lunch time as it was close by.
I called J&P my gay husbands, they called me the Dogmother (I was Godmother to their Labrador). We had many fun times together. P would get a few vodkas in him and want to dance so J&I would go along with him to Connies until J had enough. There were 10 years between each of us - J was born in 1947, P was 1958 and then me in 1969 so J used to get bored a long time before P and I did. He also suffered less hangovers than we did too!!

@Bunniekins hi my darling Bun Bun. I am taking a quick break from study at the moment and spending my time on a valuable resource - the forums!!
How are you today darlingheart? It's heading to 39 here today, still cool enough to have just fans on at the moment, saw my electric bill was nearly $400 so have to try and curb the air conditioner use. But if it gets too hot I'm not gonna care!!
I've already told my brother that once mum goes to heaven I'm selling up and moving down south and he can either come with or do what he wants! Perth heat sucks!

.. Flerky cat sleeps all day , hangs around inside yard mostly even if hiding. Not many visitors any more. he's asleep underchair outside, mostly invisible as blanky falling down from chair screening him. yes , couple minor scratches maybe. Seen him chasing after cats but not often. He's not slept inside for days now. Full moon guess. yes he is a bit blobby but way more playful and athletic, got some jumping skills he'll jump higher and float to landing
@ENKELI yeah I remember you and money stuff. I did course 2024 now , so unless move house, cat etc and go to city no work. had few places promise part time adhoc work that wouldnt have to leave home for and never came to anything. so . keephouse and cat and one day get job at local servo or supermarket maybe lol
yeah not had neighbour hassles yet, but my trees over direct neighbours fence and carport roof ha ha also branch down the back fell on houso units fence like 3 weeks ago now, might get around to salvaging it one day.am 64 this year, ust had hearty op so so how recovery goes re employment options Ideally wouldwork say a week a month , lose on dole cheque and get the other one and stay on dole til age pension
for me decent wage is work couldnt pass physical for or as trainer re studies.

@GezzaP That onesie I bought from The Salvos a month ago that was like 75% off retail was a steal. It is so incredibly warm and will get me through winter without heating in the main room of the house. Wearing it now so snuggly and comfy. Are you still going out today? Nevermind your friend you can always take yourself out like @TAB suggested. I think it would be good. So glad you got your money today! Just waiting for my meds to be delivered. Clothes still damp. The weather has dipped

@TAB oh that is awesome!! I think mum threw out all of my brothers Mad mags when we moved house. She got a skip bin and we both found stuff in there that she'd thrown out without checking with us first!
I remember my bro having this copy

@GezzaP despite working with and being a member of a political party for nearly 40 years I still get sick of the advertising that goes on around election time. Each party is as bad as the next, promises promises, bend over backwards to get elected then conveniently forget when in power.
So glad your letterbox was free of the rubbish for you today!

@AuntGlow oh, I'd have more than one fur baby!
There are so many lovely country towns down south, I feel I must go visit them all to check and see which one suits best!!

@StuF pretending to study while I surf the forums. As you say, on the downside of the hump now and I only have 2 quick units left to complete.
It's a lovely 39 here in the 'Vegas today, air con on low to conserve energy...ha ha ha the unit is probably 40 years old and doesn't have a temperature gauge, just levels of cold and heat - I can almost feel it chewing through the lectrickity!
