Omg @Cuddlebear

it’s you and me honey.

you are strong

you are beautiful

you are individual

I just sent away for freedom of information in how the hospital forgot my head injury for 40 years. I went in to hospital about a neurology report I received a letter to see a neurologist after 40 years of not being in for a check up.

I understand if I go and get an mri that often they don’t ask you in of everything looks normal but I need to check when what how this happened.

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@Glisten yeah, Kelpies are not dogs I would have. Mum had Kelpies growing up and she said they were mad.

They are a tough breed to live with, they need at least 2 hours a day of exercise but too much can overstimulate them.
They also need toys and puzzles to keep their mind active.

Have they been crate trained? I'm guessing not as it's not a big thing in Aus.
Otherwise that anti anxiety med that I gave GypsyMonroe might help. The antipsychotic med I take is also useful for making dogs calm down but it's dependent on whether you're on the same medication for that one.

I feel for you G, having working dogs throughout my life has taught me which dogs I would have and which I would avoid that's for sure.

When is K back? Can you surreptitiously leave dog training pamphlets around the house? Photos of dog toys? Doggy day care?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Lol @ENKELI . I first read, "Kelpies are not dogs"... in my head, I was thinking, "so what are they?"

I don't think kelpies fit my lifestyle! I'm don't get out enough to own one.

I think I have a greyhound personality who wants to sleep all day (but doesn't get to). Or a labrador who loves eating.

What's your dog personality/breed?

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@ENKELI no crate training. I totally agree with you. Crate training use to be called Kennel training. Lol

I would almost say that K has a codependent relationship with the Kelpies. He doesn’t pursue hobbies or interests that he use to have, water ski in his office and motorcycle that needs a new fuel pump in the shed. The dogs have toys but don’t entertain themselves. They want a human to play.

I leave the back door open, because I refuse to get up every two minutes to let them out.

They want constant attention.

You are 💯 % correct here comes the medication train 🚂

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@TAB like I was saying to @ENKELI these loveable ratbags have 11 acres to roam, kangaroos, 13 sheep to herd should they have the inclination.

Then there is the introduced feral animals that they could eradicate. No end of working dog fun.

@ENKELI the Kelpies are very relaxed now. Thank you for your support 🥰

Its good to get rid of them and feel congruent

@SmilingGecko sounds interesting. I have subscribed to have a look at later on.
