@PeppyPatti I was never really overweight because I was so active as a kid and teen. I remember my ex fiance calling me a fat b*tch I was the same as you 16. I put on weight when I hit my late 30's and my ex partner also said one of the reasons he cheated on me was because I was to fat to be desirable. From 40 - 45 it went from bad to worse when I'd set unrealistic expectations and then hate myself that I hadn't met my goals. Now I try not to look at myself in the mirror and I avoid being in photos at all cost.

The one thing I truly miss about my ex friend is that she always said I was beautiful and now I have no one who tells me that. We are our own worst enemies.

One of my closest friends many years ago was a plus size girl and she was the most beautiful woman I knew. I don't go out because I'm too ashamed for my friends to see how I look now.

My bestie used to live in an old house in North Perth. Her bedroom window faced a playing field and we were looking out the window one day when an expensive looking car pulled into the car park and a man got, then a few minutes later a small cheap car pull in next to the man and a woman got out. The got all kissy and touchy for a while, then got back in their cars and drove off. We sat at that window each day during school holidays waiting for them to come back but they never did. What a scandal! Lol!
