Just checking out Tresor perfume which is ridiculously overpriced. I love natural scents. I bought some heliotrope natural scent years ago and I love the smell. I bought from an Ecovillage that makes them to raise funds for their intentional community. The scent I have is bold light and crisp and has lasted years in the fridge.
Found out that today Tresor has heliotrope in it as a middle note. I dont like using artificial scents per se as they cause hormonal disruption due to unnatural chemicals in them. I prefer natural scent over synthetic. The small vial of scent I have is natural. But I did find a generic label here in Australia that sells dupes of the original big perfume brands called Palermo Perfumes. The same smell but generic labelling and 3/4 less of the cost of the original.
Many years ago I tried making my own perfumes with an interractive online perfume maker. You create it online and they send you the final product in the mail. but my perfume I created came back so fruity it wasnt funny. The bottles of perfume are the biggest price factor along with celebrity endorsement. The perfume is only 1% of the total cost so people are being ripped off. Plus being a perfumer requires no special qualifications. You could be a mad scientist mixing smells for all we know. So in the end its a lot of mystique that leaves a big hole in your pocket lol
Here is Palermo Perfumes and what their shop looks like. I dont know how synthetic their scent is but they sell at a much petter price with generic bottles and labelling with no celebrity endorsements, pricey overheads and labelling. I will stick with my pure heliotrope perfume for now from the Ecovillage.

hey @Bill16 not a lot happening in the 'Vegas, just doing general chores and enjoying the cooler weather. Hope it's cooler out your way, and less humidity.

Aw love you @Bunniekins just some of the things I've come across. I studied commerce and as a student saw what goes on behind the scenes in industry. I knew what went into manufacturing a product so from that point on would be deconstructing everything I saw.
