thanks @GezzaP re car. Of course no sign of fault today. So if it was what other sooky mechanic thought it was, probs just as well to change stuff anyway. coilpacks prob 20 years old, sparkplugs were 4-5 years old, so guess they are due to be replaced prob did 60,000ks on them dunno

thanks @StuF somehow its not going to anything like $1600 my matey mechanic wanted ok he said $390 labour unless put rate up again, see what this lot do.

..I was surprised at how upset he was @SmilingGecko he was quite happy to rob me though with $6-700 more for parts. I got same parts and same brands retail for around $500 he wanted $1200. I could have paid say 20% more to grease the wheels ok keep him happy. Not over 100%tho
Just going to pick car up now
