Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

@StuF thanks for asking, its been quite painful today but hot shower helps dull the pain. I'll have to do some stretches later but for now having some reprieve from it thankfully. Just happy to be able to sit in a chair

@TAB the wind is really picking up here like the weather report indicated. Can't tell if its going to get much worse but they did say violent wind gusts. They said it was due to hit tonight. Don't know what its like where you are in S.A

@TAB @SmilingGecko @Meowmy @Bill16 @Bunniekins and all

Hey, just spoke with my boss about work going forward. I start back on Monday. My co-worker is facing surgery then too, so he'll be out for another couple of weeks or so...And he only wants to/can come back to 1 or 2 days a week...

Anyway, I told/clarified with my boss that I don't want to take on any more than what I was doing before my driver and I needed time off. So, three days a week, same (variable) hours...

Oh, and, most importantly - they have employed a new casual driver to assist! And he's a good driver! He's only been there a couple of days, so I'll need to 'train' him, but that's cool...

So, I'm feeling much better about it all. I think I'm inheriting a bit of a mess work wise, so first week or so might be fun...but that's life. Will see how it goes 🙂

Re: Tabaluga's 2.0

Thats good @StuF I hated driving big vans. Used to work at a residential unit with intellectually disabled and you had to drive a van. I certainly know how you feel about it when you start driving them. But its good they have got a new driver. I hope you are well recovered from your hospital stay. Doing some casual work and getting out there would certainly make a bit of a difference in your wellbeing and overall outlook. By the sounds of it I think you will be enjoying going back to work again. I know you liked that job and its good they have flexible arrangements. The best job ever is low key, low stress and easy to to and one where you don't take workplace stress home with you.
