@Bunniekins Awesome story! The god of religion never answered me, but faith in Jesus has.
Once when our daughter was very ill. She had major problems with lung infections, which had forced us to visit the hospital a few times already, for she became so unwell and blocked up.
That day she run a very high fever and been coughing uncontrollably all evening already. My wife and me had been looking on worried as as we watch her get sicker and sicker.
Then amazingly we both felt called to pray for her healing. So we did. And to our astonishment when we finished our prayer our Daughter was fast asleep. The fever was gone so was the infection and she never has had a lung infection again after that night.
Another time was when we first moved to our block, and our dog Arnie was bitten by a massive tiger snake him killing it, for it was lurking very close to the house. i still see Arnie coming waggling towards me sitting on the veranda. i saw straight away something was very wrong, and indeed before he got to me he collapsed in some kind of fit that left him paralysed on the spot he dropped.
We did not know at first what was wrong so we rang the vet. The vet after hearing all the symptoms, conclude that it was snake bite for sure. He could not come out, so we had to bring him in, but an antidote would cost us $900 dollars, yet that seeing the state our dog was in, he could not give any guarantees.
We were devastated at the time, we had no money left after just moving. plus it would have been a mission lifting Arnie in the car for, he was a massive Saint Barnard, our were only little 13 downwards, and i suffered from a bad back injury and could in no way lift him in the car without hurting myself badly.
So together we decided to pray. At first we prayed together as afamily, but as answer to our first prayer Arnie, had grown visibly much worse, not even a little better, for he was hardly breathing any more and his massive tongue lay on the concrete unmoving. So the kids began crying and walked away pronouncing him dead already.
Yet i hear a small still voice in my heart convincing me to pray (as i had heard when our daughter had been sick,) telling me to pray on believing the truth our beloved dog was going to be healed, so i did, i prayed believing our dog would get better. i had so much faith for some reason that i even lightly scolded our kids making such a drama and not have faith in God. And to everyone astonishment not even a hour later Arnie got up and alid down in our lake to cool down. The next day the kids found the tiger snake in the bushes not even 25 meters from our house. A massive near two meter long tiger snake bitten in three.
So yes you experience getting your beloved (pet) back after praying, i relate to as well, did you also hear a small voice, that is NOT demanding, but speaking conviction?
Faith in the truth has more to say than hopelessness in lies ever can!
