@TAB yeah I'm on the same amount, all I want is enough to fix the house up, pay my rates and go to NSW to see my old man before he shuffles off his mortal coil.

@Bunniekins I never got to visit dad when he was there but it looks like a beautiful area. He also lived in Liserow for a while. Stepmonster used to want to move every few years for some reason. My dads' sister and I reckon it's because she alienated herself from the neighbours and had to move. Thankfully the nasty old witch is no longer with us and dad is now in an assisted living facility on the central coast.

Valley of the Swans is actually the Swan Valley, it is a region in Perth that has lots of wineries, restaurants, breweries and the best coffee place ever. The Swan Valley is the only wine region within a 25 minute drive of a capital city.

Back in the 70's Perth Airport had a man made pond with black swans in it. We used to go to the airport just to see the swans up close.

yes,I wouldnt mind to go for the occasional holiday, like $500 petrol and accom without worrying about it,also bills without spending super.Gee, if working could actually put more into super lol @ENKELI

@TAB yeah I haven't worked for a year so my super is currently stagnant. Part of me worries about not working and part of me thinks F it at least I get concession on meds on the dole!

well I'm over super age @ENKELI . lost count of how much I have taken out since covid

I pretty much retired then lol. To try and make up for what I was taking out, I shifted to higher gains from balanced . I nearly kept up for a while lol.

yeah I m on so many meds , I get them for free last few months of the year as spent over like $250 at $7a go lol also hundreds of water,power, rates, rego ,licence. was part ofreason didnt want fulltime work,(losing concessions) but turns out than working can make that up in not much time
