@Cuddlebear I always try to be nice to people, as I realise that I have no idea what they have gone through in life. Just like people do not know all the different events that have affected my life in the past 23 years. I keep that top of mind when communicating with people, plus I know what it feels like to be treated very unfairly.

Yes we never know what people have been through. Showing kindness is so important.

@Bunniekins thank you for mentioning about when you were deeply psychotic and used to, in your imagination, put your bad thoughts in a black box. It has reminded me of one thing that one of my therapists suggested which is similar in a way. She said to imagine a Chest and picture it in detail and make it as fancy or funny as I like, then place any thoughts that I cannot cope with at a particular time, inside the chest and close the lid. Then I had to image a key that is needed to lock those thoughts in the chest. And since I have control of the imaginary key, I can control when I unlock the chest and if I take those thoughts out, to deal with them, or leave them there for as long as I like.

But I find when I am psychotic, all the things that I have been taught, go out the window. Just like that tool from my therapist. It is the first time I have thought of it, since the therapist explained it to me.
