Did you know birds can turn off half their brain and go to sleep and leave the other half awake in case of predators? @Chasingsunsets Why can we do that! I'd get a lot more done!

Omg @tyme really! Wow no I didn’t know that!!! How cool!

Yes why can’t we do that 🤣🤣

Yes! That's why they can fly while sleeping! It's their unihemispheric slow-wave sleep!

Lovely bird photos!

The most amazing (colour) bird I've seen with my own eyes is the Lilac-Breasted Roller in southern Africa. https://ebird.org/species/librol2

I love purple and green. And to me this birds colours are simply amazing.

But yours are amazing because they are local and you can see them without travel 😍 if lucky enough to find one!

@tyme amazing bird facts! 😮

@Suku welcome. 😊

It is a sun bird @Chasingsunsets , @tyme , @Dk5 , @Suku 😊

Are you around @Apar to join this chat too?

Maybe @Shaz51 can tag you into our future chats? I know you've mentioned in the past that you wanted to join.
