Calling those who are drawn towards pagan/spiritual/fae things

Calling those who are drawn towards pagan/spiritual/fae things

Hi everyone, I thought a thread for those whom are into crystals, spiritual / energy healing, pagan rituals, spiritual practises, fae folk and mythological beings is needed.

I figured there must be some other likeminded individuals that would be into this type of thing as well.

Tonight is a black moon, and here's a quick explanation: "The 2025 August new moon is known as a black moon because it will be the third new moon in a season of four new moons. Unlike a typical three-month season that has three new moons, there is an occasional season where there are 4 new moons." (continued because the end cut off the link) of 4 new moons. Typically there are only 3 new moons in a season and this is the occasional season where there are 4.

Below is also the spiritual meaning.

@MissGremlin @Bunniekins @rav3n @SmilingGecko

Please tag any other likeminded people that you think would enjoy this sort of thing.

With a name like 0ddsidian, you KNOW this is something I'm into @rav3n. Thanks for making this @Former-Member!

The words I see are: Surrender, Grow, Reflect and Embrace. Time to journal on it, me thinks.

I did journal for the Black Moon and had quite a profound experience relating to my inner child, through some shadow work. Really hoping it supports further healing for me ♥️

I've always had quite a strong connection to the moon. I feel much more at peace at night but also energised. I'm thinking of exploring my connection to the Sun too. @Jynx, @Ru-bee and myself attended some workshops earlier in the month about an Indigenous Approach to Trauma Informed Care and Practice, and one of the things that really impacted me was the concept of cellular memory. It related to how our cells hold memories of the past and our ancestors, and that this can potentially show up in how we are drawn to certain places and things. I wonder whether my ancestors were particularly connected to the moon.

Here's a little photo I took with Jynx and Ru-bee at the training, when we wore our matching bracelets.

@Bunniekins that's pretty cool that they can guess your ascendant sign based on events/personality! my mum doesn't know her real birth date at all (there's no record of her actual birth date as her documents were falsified when she was a child) so it would be cool if she was interested in this stuff, i've always wanted to analyse her chart!

@rav3n Hi rav3n im sorry to hear about your mother's documents being falsified that is awful! mayb a good clairvoiant (i know of a really good one) she is booked up for over a year in advance! could help. i found her online and she helped me when i had a spirit attached to me.

@Oaktree thanks for sharing! i had a look through and saw some stuff around cleansing crystals (but unfortunately the article link no longer exists). i think i recall @Former-Member and @0ddsidian talking about it once... i have a few small crystals that (unfortunately) have collected dust. am i supposed to be cleansing them often? any tips around how to use them?

here's the ones i have:

i think its: amethyst, clear quartz, rose quartz, angelite, apatite and blue goldstone (also my fav one).

i also remember hearing about moldavite and how people had some pretty intense experiences with it. has anyone used moldavite before?

@Bunniekins i have asked her (or maybe 'begged' her is more accurate) to talk to a spiritual professional about it and see if she can get answers. some of her siblings and friends have spiritual guides that they can refer her to - but unfortunately she has no interest! she's content with not knowing... it's just me who's super curious 😆 i guess i'll just have to let it go!

reading charts are quite fun! i love using the cafe astrology one too, i used to read my friend's charts too and it was so cool to see how i shared similar elements and placements to the friends i was closest with.

@rav3n

You can cleanse hard crystals in salt water. I use ocean water because it is close or you can make your own. I tend to cleanse them in water right before a full moon and them charge them with moonlight but you don’t have to do both. Don’t soak soft crystals.

@rav3n maybe she is a air sign or earth? my mother is a taurean and jokes all her friends (and this is true) are taurean! i enjoy reading up on signs including the chinese horoscope (im a wood dragon) so both my signs the centaur for saggitarius and dragon are mythical.

thank you for this info @Oaktree! i'll look into using ocean water, i feel like using the natural salts would be nice but if not, store-bought sea salt it is!

@Bunniekins i have a feeling she's an earth or water sign! omg that's so cool that all her besties are the taurus' too! i'm a sag too, and i wish i attracted more Sagittarians... or maybe the universe knows that it would be too chaotic if i hung out with a group of sags haha. i do tend to draw in a lot of pisces and libras though! do you have lots of sag friends?

oo yes i like looking into Chinese horoscopes too! dragon is such a cool one!!! i was born on a snake year. i resonate with the centaur symbol a lot more than the snake though (yet i unintentionally end up buying clothes and jewellery with the snake symbol 😅)

@rav3n now this is weird. i dont have saggie friends. ( i am a november saggie and have only met one other november saggie) but have always had pisces friends and people in my life and leos (even though i find their personalities to be full on). interesting you are drawn to clothing and jewellry with snake symbol.
