Enjoy @Former-Member ! 😊 I had to google what a Black Moon was - but I'm glad because it means I have learned something new.

I'm not into pagan or new age etc, but I think its great that you can celebrate your beliefs and cultures etc and want to support you in that. 🥰

I think there is often a lot of helpful wisdom, life-processing, and values in pagan traditions I have read or heard about.

Yes @AlwaysMyself scent work with my girl has been super fun!

Yes you should get into it, see how she goes with something different when I first started in a course we had to focus on a tree scent “birch” like I love trees and was rewarding but boring after we got to the point of her to be able to locate it 🤣. So our next course we did we got to choose our search item which was so much fun and has become handy!!

I also have ADHD so I loose stuff a lot haha and I am not sure if you noticed but I miss stuff on the forum. Not sure if I scroll with my eyes shut 🤣 and skip bits of the chat or what lol. I also forget to respond to stuff too so if I do that with anyone not intentional and happy for you to re ask or re tag me in anything 🤗. It happens in text messages a lot, which is why I am aware I miss stuff, not sure why it happens! @Shaz51

Yeah the search and rescue for searching for people is a lot of fun and on a greater scale, so we train in the bush/ parks etc for now. My trainer has qualified dogs and they work with the police if there is a missing person. She is also training one of her dogs to be a cadaver dog, so she will be able to find people would have passed away.

What kind of sight hound do you have? I was back to google seeing what they looked like and as I understood that could be an umbrella term for them? I can’t remember who it was now but someone on the forum has a Borzoi! (And here I was thinking I knew dog breeds lol and there has been three new dogs I have learnt about since joining the forums it’s been great!)

Oh Indi would love flyball I think !! Unfortunately we don’t have anywhere close that does it 😔.

Hi everyone,

Just wondering, what's the difference between quick reply and the other reply button?

Yep, I'm the one with Borzoi @Chasingsunsets ☺️ they are sighthounds, like greyhounds, saluki, whippets, Italian greyhounds, silken windhounds (although theyre not an officially recognised breed), Irish wolfhound, deerhounds.

(Borzoi are a Russian Wolfhound, but they are bred originally from Greyhounds. Not the Irish ones. They just were for hunting wolves).

@Former-Member Buddhism does have some concepts that can be very wise. And some concepts that are very calming and comforting to people - although to me sometimes some of those same concepts can also be more fuel for my difficult thoughts. But the way Buddhism is sometimes taught or played out (along with Hinduism too) can sometimes be detrimental to people's wellbeing - but then, i also think/admit this is the case for all religions! There will always be people who alter the core concepts and use them in ways that may benefit some people over others. Sadly human traits.

I like it when people are able to find support in their beliefs - whatever that may be, including a belief in no God/spirits if that is a comfort to them. 💜

Re: Saturday Soiree - 23rd August 2025

Great question @aquaserene80 !

I use "reply" because quick reply doesnt come up with tagging people options for me (on a mobile at least).

Reply also gives editing tool options (bold, insert images, etc).

Not sure if there are any other differences?

Would be interested to know!

Hello @Shaz51

How you going, happy Saturday afternoon.

I'm definitely a tea drinker, do you like tea or rather like a good cuppa coffee yourself?

My day been ok, lovely sunny day outdoors.
