Sunday Social Chat -- 10th August 2025

Hey @AuntGlow I have been wanting to reply to you so many times but things have just slipped away from me ...... sometimes I respond to someone on the chat and then I forget again!

Just wanted to say too, I have had to deal with a person that oversees where I live and undertake some training this week. Every interaction with her is a negative one. She is domineering, overbearing and in fact a bully. It has taken all my mental energy to try and stay as calm as I can to do this training (it was not with her) and relay what I have done. This was done this afternoon after I volunteered and a report written. I am pretty wiped ☹️

I havent been that creative since we last chatted. I did try my hand at a bit more crocheting but that didnt work out. I have borrowed countless books on sketching on watercolour and I feel I have overdone it as I can not make sense of anything!!!!! But I have found a channel on Youtube of a woman in the States who lives in a cottage and does cutsie things. Art, cooking, she loves boho style and thrifting. I have been inspired to do get some things done around her I have been meaning to do. The first photo is of Frida Khalo. I love these black and white prints and the other photo I hung up is of a singer's music lyrics. Can you guess who he is?

I have been doing some dancing/theatre things, I am performing on the weekend. 💃
