Icebreakers time!

rav3nSenior Contributor

Icebreakers time!

Welcome forumites!!

If you’ve attended groups (through either Guided Recovery or RecoveryClub), then you’ll be familiar with all the fun lil icebreakers that the amazing facilitators come up with! 🧊

With our forums community growing each day, we thought it’d be a nice way to get to know each other and connect here too!

The mods will take turns posting a new icebreaker question each week!!

The first icebreaker question is... *insert drumroll*

Which frog do you relate to most at the moment and why? 🐸
*or if there's another frog that's not in the image, feel free to share or describe it!

Re: Icebreakers time!

@rav3n "now no one can talk behind my back in another language :relieved_face:"

I have to agree with you there

Re: Icebreakers time!

Animals 100%. I think we could learn a lot by listening and talking to them. Taking things back to basics the way they seem to be able to.

@rav3n

I would pick humans because of the potential it holds for every child to feel seen, heard and loved

Re: Icebreakers time!

@Glisten miniature anything is adorable! My family comes from the Shetland Isles, you've seen the size of their horses!!

I could be the cook and you could do whatever it is that you want. Imagine travelling the country working on stations. What a way to go.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@rav3n probably speak to animals. Animals can be so compassionate and don’t judge you.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@rav3n, I would love to speak every language in the world, as my family has been exposed to different cultures around the world.

Re: Icebreakers time!

@MissGremlin I'm with you. I prefer animals.

I like the idea of being able to speak other languages but would rather know what my cat wants!

Re: Icebreakers time!

@ENKELI my imagination is running riot with livestock and crop farm and station adventures. Mr MM in his kitty harness. I will wear him while I shear the sheep 🐑

I don’t know why I think I can shear sheep? But I don’t know until I try.

Retiisi, umm if your family descends from the Shetlands, and my family comes from Ireland 🇮🇪, Channel Islands, French Normandy, the Low Countries of Belgium, Netherlands and a few Flemish weavers. - Why are they called Low Countries?

Could we be distantly related?

Re: Icebreakers time!

  • Okay, as iv had the fortune to live in a complex with people who have had none of how I was brought up ide talk to everyone. . .

ide probably show my friends up by talking to everyone.
however, as I don’t really do much, ide probably machine stitch embroider a poem I wrote a long time ago on quilts. In different languages.
