Struggling with BPD, BDD & ADHD - quite badly :(

Struggling with BPD, BDD & ADHD - quite badly :(

I recently turned 30 and it has made my mental health a whole new level of fucked. I cant get out of bed, i never see my friends (i used to be a crazy social person) and my ability to go to work is now slipping away from me too.

I have BPD, ADHD, BDD & a little bit of OCD (i have picked most of my eyebrow out it looks terrible)

Cant sleep - always want to eat unhealthy food even though im a healthy person - drink & smoke more than ever.

Anyone in a similar boat?

hey @fml2025 firstly - welcome to the forums!

i'm sorry to hear how hard it's been lately. sounds like there's been a lot of changes in mood, social energy, diet, etc., which can feel overwhelming to handle all at once. i'm really glad you've reached out here, the community is here to listen and support you 💙

i remember when i started a new job, and also had assignments building up, and other conflicts with family members, it all piled up and i ended up being constantly tired and unmotivated. not being able to talk about it made it harder for me to work through things but once i did open up and work through it with my psych, i slowly found my way back. we took it one small step at a time which helped - i focused on reaching out to a clinician (via phone) first, then getting out of bed/sleep hygiene, then added in exercise/movement, then reaching out to friends, etc.

has something happened around the time you turned 30 that's made you feel more overwhelmed?

is there maybe a small step you can work on for now, something like texting a friend or calling a psych/mental health professional?
