Hubby

My beautiful husband has served 40 years in the Australian Army. He contacted Invasive Aspergillosis (Black Mould) in East Timor in 2000 whilst he was with 2/14.

3 head surgeries later by the best in the world, he was told if it grew back in 2020 that was it. He was medically discharged in 2023. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago the mould is back, no more surgeries polyps and cysts are back in the head.

How can you prepare for End of Life at 59 years old. DVA would not acknowledge the mould as no one has had it and there is no SOP.

We have seen a steep decline over the last 2 weeks. We have 6 boys, 5 alive. How do we get through. I was a Army Wife for 37 years, was always supportive, I feel so helpless.

Thanks for reading.
