Oooh cuppa time, yes please! Wish I had a fire... but I do have a bunch of tealight candles, that should warm my space up... mostly mentally but still, FIRE PRETTY.

@Cuddlebear hiding in my oodie and contemplating dinner!! Plus the usual hehe video games, silly cats, and procrastinating all my cleaning 😅

@Shaz51 ooh what did you have? I got hash browns w bacon and eggs but... I don't wanna have to do the whole 'cooking' thing 😭😝

@Jynx Sounds like you have a very good Saturday night planned. I love candles on in the house it feels relaxing and cosy. I’m making dinner at the moment. Bit of Greek cooking and some marinated chicken in the oven baking.

Hello everyone,

I haven’t been back to post on here in a while after I joined recently. Weekends are hard when you’re living alone and spend all weekend alone. Plus the weather here is stormy, and raining all day which adds to the gloominess of it.

I have my dog, but I think he’s just as miserable today since I haven’t been able to talk him on many walks at all with this bad weather.

Been watching movies, reading and keeping myself busy. I understand loneliness is a mind state… sometimes it just hits me pretty hard.

Saturdays / weekends are one of them sometimes.

@Jynx I’m making a dish called spanakoriso. It is a traditional dish with spinach, fresh tomato and rice plus salt and lemon. It’s very yummy and I have it with a big Greek salad on the side and some bread. It’s very easy to make and cheap too! I’m Greek Australian so I do eat Greek food often but I also eat lots of dishes from around the world. I’m a big foodie. I love cooking for people and sitting around and enjoying thwt food inspired social time.
