hi @Alice62 welcome to the forums!
i'm really sorry to hear how intense those anxiety and panic symptoms have gotten, that overwhelm sounds exhausting to endure. i'm really glad you've reached out here, i hope our community helps you feel less alone.
i have social anxiety, and over the years, my ability to cope with my anxious thoughts and feelings in social environments has improved a lot. i went from avoiding interactions at all costs, constantly feeling anxious and sick over situations that were supposed to be 'stress-free/normal' to now being able to face and even initiate social interactions without feeling depleted by the end. i share this to let you know that this can improve for you too - there were times i felt that i'd feel this way forever, but with the right supports and strategies, things can really start turning around.
for me, reframing my thoughts and working through my thought pattern with a psychologist really helped. reframing thoughts does take a while, it's something i'm still working on, but i am finding it much easier to 'bounce' back from my negative thoughts/feelings thanks to the practice. have you spoken to a psychologist, health professional or friend/family about these feelings before? are there certain events or situations that makes the panic worse?
