@avant-garde well done with setting that boundary. I love it when people say things like that - in the beginning before my ex friend betrayed me my aunt was always reminding me how "lucky" I was to have ex friend in my life because of all that she did for me. Now that ex has showed colours, my aunt apologised.
It doesn't matter if a person helps you, what counts is how they treat you later on. I wonder if the help was more for her benefit than yours?

@PeppyPatti I am extremely jellie! Not of Peanut biting you but of your skill in patchwork quilting.
My Nana started to show me how to make a patchwork quilt but she never got to finish as she passed away from cancer.
Everytime I see a patchwork quilt I think of her.

@PeppyPatti English was always a subject that I enjoyed. Both my parents and brother are all very good at English as well. I'm not very creative when it comes to arts and craft but I love word
I have always tried to treat others how I want to be treated and with Sane I've met so many people who have so much to offer, but like me, they doubt their abilities because of various reasons.
I've recently been called many unkind things by ex friend and her minion (@Glisten called her Septic) and it finally didn't bother me what they thought.
I know I'm overweight and I always get passed over by guys because my friends are prettier - feeling so inadequate for so long taught me to interact with people with love and kindness.
I've no doubt you have other gifts and for you to say you feel safe being you is the highest compliment I could receive. I treasure our conversations and I hope I can always say something that may boost you or lift you if needed.
You are a treasured member of my Sane family ♥️
