No problem @ArraDreaming poor mental health is hard is hard to deal with and especially if it's on a background of generational trauma. Everyone's experience is different, so I suppose not everyone can understand what another is going through. For example I don't have kids, so really I have no idea what it's like to have mental health issues while trying to be a responsible good parent. You seem to make a lot of time for your kids and think about them in your actions. Like taking them to be welcome to country - I really loved that

Yeah I agree @ArraDreaming feeling you've been betrayed or even let down by another is hard. It's probably one of the harder things to deal with I think.
Although at the moment my view might be biased because I feel let down at the moment.
My psych has told me she is discharging me because I am too complex. So I feel the work I put into that definitely has less value than it would have had. So I'm a bit lost at the moment. Interestingly, that psych had a good understanding of issues for indigenous people.

Ok, so I'm not recommending hammer treatment @ArraDreaming
It seems like maybe you are not used to opening up and talking about how you feel. Maybe you've never had the opportunity to do that before or it has not been met with compassion.
I didn't really open up until the last few years. Just kept stuff to myself for like 50years
