The birdlife around me has really picked up due to some good council plantings and gradual establishment of gardens. @Adge @Former-Member I am just enjoying them as I find them. They are a feature of most of my walks.

Ooh Tawney's Magic Soup @Former-Member Yes please....
Could certainly do with some of that.
Having trouble eating - Too tired, no appetite.
So just had Cuppa Soup & Toast.
I don't suppose that anywhere near as good as Tawney's Magic Soup....

Cuppa soup better than nothing. @Adge so sorry you got to endure this. @Tawneys magic soup is done in crock pot / slow cooker with lamb shank, lentils and loads of vegies.
Have you seen 'Penguin Bloom' movie yet? Bit of a 'feel good' movie I'm told, true story. They care for this magpie that actually helps them. I don't like movies by myself but maybe for this one. Or wait for the dvd. Hope you sleep tonight, Mag supp might help that. 🐦🐦🐦

@Former-Member Movie was on SBS on demand. I only watched half, will finish it tonight. It is set in Turkey. I tend to like more world movies than feel good. Do not feel deprived that I dont have netflix or othe pay to view as I dont really like thier products anyway. Will just watch them if son want to. Watching movies became one way of us connecting. Gives me some sense of feeling for social conditions and what is going on in wider world beyond news. I made a decision about a year ago as part of self care to settle at night with a movie. It is not religious, but it has helped regulate my energy. It is one of the things that is available and also good to share. I think there is a good range on SBS. Maybe cos I travelled a lot and English was not mother tongue, I am very comfortable with subtitles. I am glad lots of countries are getting thir own movie directors and actors and getting their stories out there ... not just Hollywood .... eye roll. Studied a little about cinema in degree.
