I blew my budget on my new birds too, just like you said you did at Bunnings.

There is no $$ in my budget for anything - it doesn't even cover my essential expenses.

I can only upload photos using my computer, I cannot do it with my phone - too hard, complicated, & won't work.

They're all from Web Searches - eg I type in "Orange canary pictures", & it comes up with photos of Orange canaries (along with lots of irrelevant stuff that I did not ask for).

It's too hard for me to take or post actual photos that I take myself.

I did manage that once or twice with photos of Jelly Cat - but not often.

The Web photos that I posted of Bengalese Finches, Goldfinches, & Orange Canaries etc - look exactly like the ones I have.

So we can just pretend that those are photos of my birds, because they look the same.

My work wants all staff to buy a new gee beaut Smartphone, at their own expense (work won't pay for it).

That's because they said they want to install their own software (on your phone) - so they can monitor your exact location, & what purposes we are using our phone for etc.

Which is none of their business to know actually - we are where we are supposed to be, no-one needs to monitor us (or me).

The MS Teams Software is a huge program, which would take up too much storage space on our private phone - plus it uses a lot of data to run it.

I don't have enough Data Allowance in my Mob Ph Plan - so I cannot do it.

I cannot afford a new Mob Phone right now (don't want one) - I certainly don't want to pay for a new expensive phone, just so that my work can use it for free.

They don't reimburse or pay for any of the costs involved.

New things from Bunnings for you to put together - sounds exciting!

Lovely that you have 2 new additions to your family.

I love the depth of colour in the one you showed.

I am sure that you will find much serenity in tending for your birds..

I might have some baby Java finches soon - I heard tweeting in the Java nest, & a parent Java kept looking into the nest (through the hole).

I might also have baby Budgies soon - as there was squeaking in the Budgie nest too.

I don't need any more Budgies, but I haven't got the heart to take their nest box away.

They were just 2 Budgies (a few years ago) - then they got excited, & I had 15 Budgies (at one stage).
