Emotionally depleted and quite exhausted. Some naive person at Bible study last night tried to make herself feel included at my expense, discounting all the work I put in to get where I am.

It's book one of the four kingdoms series by Melanie Cellier
It tells the story of the Princess and the Pea
Cinderella (now queen) has a son of marrying and and a set of twin daughters.
The Princess (who is actually just a commoner) becomes the companion of the twin girls and falls in love with the prince, except Cinderella wants him to marry from another kingdom.
The Princess who Cinderella chooses for her son though is a villain and has been deceiving the whole royal family, except for the twins companion who has now been kidnapped by the Princess so no meddling happens

@avant-garde last night I actually borrowed this audiobook to start listening to 😊. After you mentioned the author I looked her up and liked the sound of her books.

@avant-garde that's good. I finished listening to the first Harry potter book, I was going to read it but I chose to try the audiobook instead.
