And I did all table service and when I said "you can take the number now, I'm done" the guy said "good luck" and then I showed him the containers and he laughed

I had peer support group and there was a late comer who wasn't there for the guidelines and offered "advice".

My mum had a monstrous side and to hear someone say that it's just my perception, to forgive and release?!?

I'm only just starting to accept the dark side of my mum, to talk about it!

It's definitely frustrating when people don't understand.

For me that advice would feel rather dismissive given the situation so I can only imagine how you are feeling hearing that.
