Just a overwhelming stark contrast I experienced today, that I didn't expect

Someone from my church was at the shopping centre I visit after chiro, I noticed and approached her, was friendly and asked how she was, got closed answers like I was a fly that would go away if ignored.
I walk into the store I regularly visit and the manager and I are actually good friends that we catch up and laugh and it's a proper friendship.
I saw a friend from my craft group who is one of the people I relate really well to and we talk and touch base and I gave her a birthday present.
I've never had such a distinct comparison experience like that, how I am with others, but also how others are with me, from three of my circles.

@avant-garde that first experience sounds hard but the other 2 sound very positive and as though you have strong connections with them.
It's interesting how we can have such different interactions with people that we connect with through different spaces.

Oh the looks on people's faces from church when I share my views!
Going into a smokes store for other things they sell
Being friends with LGBTQ+
When I actually approach a rough sleeper
Oh what fun I have challenging them!
My new pastor actually appreciates it
In my book? They need God too, how are they going to hear it if we don't tell them.

@avant-garde challenging the typical stereotypes of Christianity.
I've strayed from my religion a bit given things I've been through and I struggle to have faith cos of it. But i still believe and I'm very much like you in the things I do to help others have faith.

I had peer support group today, spoke to the PSW that triggered me last week which helped and then got to feel understood about the bone density scan yesterday and the impact
I'm fairly wiped now

@avant-garde it sounds like a big day sweet. I'm glad you got to talk to the PSW and that it helped. It's good that you feel understood around the bone density scan and the impact, you deserve to be understood sweet.
Sending you hugs sweetheart ❤️
