Hi Everyone

Hi Everyone

I'm very new here and I've joined to connect with people who truly understand what it's like to live with complex mental health. Right now things are really hard and I'm feeling very alone in all of this and everything is a huge struggle.

Thank goodness there is a place for us to go for support.

Hey @Di5a55ocimum ,

Welcome to the forums!

I can totally relate to the challenges of navigating complex mental health. I really struggled for over a decade. I never thought I'd be here today to tell the story, but I'm here - so that gives us all hope.

I look forward to getting to know you and perhaps we can navigate some of the challenges together.

We hope you feel less alone by connecting here on the forums.

What are some things that keep you well? Things that keep you going even when life thrown curve balls at you?

Re: Hi Everyone

Hi totally understand l have cptsd and major depression. I recently sore an old childhood friend whoem was very dear to me. I have come to the conclusion that she does not want to be around me lm guessing because of my mental problems so has decided to ghost me after telling me not to rely on her as a friend. Im struggling as l have no close friends other than work mates. I have been feeling like l will never have a meaningful relationship and feeling a bit like giving up. I soldier on but l just feel like no one understands me and l fight self harming thoughts when l am very down. I have been alone my whole life. I hate living with mental illness, its just so tough! Thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry for replying soooooo much later than I should. I keep forgetting that I'm a member.

Things are really intense at the moment and I'm struggling to manage any task. I'm quite unwell and trying to get an admission to a private hospital as soon as possible.

Anything that has helped in the past has done nothing for me now.

Trying to get into a MH unit has been really hard, even getting one on the telephone has taken five days. I feel like it's my fault because the last place I'd stayed at, I reported because the treatment there from majority of the nursing staff was appalling. So now it feels like I've been blacklisted. Even my Dr seems to have washed his hands of me, he works out of the said unit when I'd see him as an out-patient.

I'm waiting to hear from another place [edited by moderator] but need to be somewhere safe in the meantime my disassociation is so bad at the moment that if I move something out of my line of sight I may as well have put it on the moon cause I can't find it.

I don't want to harm myself but I'm pretty far from ok and unable to care for myself.

@Brenita

That feels really crap. I had a friend that was around for most stuff but started to step away slowly the more complicated my MH got. I understand that she has her own issues in life. I've got to remember that everyone has a different capacity.

I really feel it when you say that no one understands you, I feel it too. Sending warm, accepting, loving vibes your way.

It is really hard to live with mental illness, I don't think anyone can truly understand unless they've been there and lived it.

Hi, I'm a Littlie.

I'm one of the Littlies in the Team. I'm 5. I call our Host Mumma there is 20 of us in here with her. She's a nice Mumma.

She is waiting for a hospital to call so we can go in. I been up front a lot and she get a bit worried that we need more help because the more I come up I feel more safe to be me. Mumma says the more child like she act, she's a bit worried the body might get hurt. She want say some stuff but she is pretty tired. Maybe I just put what I remember she said?

* It's hard there is nowhere we can meet others living with DID

* Most people don't understand

* She feels like she's missing out on life

* She hides at home to protect all of us cause not many people know we here

* She has all of us but she get really lonely cause there no many outside people

* One of the Team up front makes her super tired and she always got pain cause Fibro

* When one other Team Member comes up Mumma gets very sad cause that TM don't like herself at all and Mumma get scary thinking cause TM does.

I don't know what to do to help her. I just try be a good girl to make things less hard.

Does any one else know where we can get some help till we go in?

Thank you for listenin to me.
