Re: weather

No, but now that you mention it, I feel calmer in the rain.

I feel down on rainy dreary days.

Re: weather

@jamesle2015. I feel more calm and focused at night, so I suppose that means my anxiety is higher during the daytime. But maybe that's true for most people. I'm not sure. I do find the sunlight too intense sometimes, it almost feels overwhelming. I do like the dark, and if I could I would stay awake at night and sleep during the day. Perhaps that just means that my circadian rhythms are permanently dodgy.

Is it the sunlight itself that makes you feel anxious, or is it something else to do with daytime?

I am at work - office hours -

part of it may be work related ...part of it is my 'strange thoughts' -

if you look through my previous posts you will see how I am struggling...

I wish I could switch them off - the 'strange thoughts' -

I don't want to think about life too much but the 'strange thoughts' are constantly there....

Part of the problem may be I don't have things to do apart from work most of the time..

I feel more scared at night. My anxiety goes through the roof. I feel safe in the sun because it's yellow and yellow means happy which makes me feel safe.

My mind wasn't 'clear' when I was at work and then I made a mistake -

it was one of those things that happen - the customer was in a hurry and then he ran out

and by the time I realised it was too late to catch up with him...

I already charged him so it wasn't a $$ shortage -

the annoying part is later on the 'manager' mentioned it to someone else who isn't there until the end of the day - I can't explain too much otherwise you will work out what sort of retail I am doing ...

I reckon it's easy to point out other people's mistakes but what is the point?

why do people do things like this - I wouldn't do it to other people -

are they trying to prove they are better??

Do you go for a walk at night?

I'm inside usually

I think I am more of a night person...feels that way

Re: weather

Possibly @jamesle2015 I have begun to note that if a person mentions an issue with me .. which I might admit or agree to and then they think they can get in with the thin edge of the wedge... and niggle at my self esteem.

Not everyone is like that tho... I am learning to sift between the decent types and the nasty ones ...

Problem if they are bosses .. it can be their way of divide and conquer to keep control and manage things .. I prefer better management styles personally. .. good luck @jamesle2015

Re: weather

@jamesle2015 for some reason I love walking at night. I feel trapped in the house. If I get bad anxiety my husband normally takes me for a walk or big drive. The fresh air helps me. In my youth I use to walk the streets alone because it gave me a sense of power but now I know how dangerous that was.
