Carers/Family, thread is a lot quieter then other threads

I don't feel I can read/chat in the Carers/Family, Vets, or Yarning spaces because I'm not a carer, vet, or indigenous.--- very understandable my friend

I have written in the educator thread sometimes , but i was a private child care provider and a teachers aid a long time ago

@Shaz51 I wonder sometimes with these areas if, as an outsider, it can be useful for me to read in order to better understand the issues and perspectives of others in roles i am not in / experiences I haven't had.

But I also do not want to "intrude" in places without their permission (even though I know theyre public, with the exception of education space).

I remember as a child/youth some teachers who had negative impacts and others that had really positive impacts with regard to noticing my depression. I often didnt respond well to the positive ones at the time when I was younger - I was afraid of people knowing, but once I lost the stigma of it (mid-high school) I learned to really value and thank them for their concern. As a receiver of their concerns I could provide perspective on what would have helped it be less threatening initially, for example. But having the thread locked down i assume there is not desire for that perspective unless its posted in the general areas.

also all members in all the spaces write in the general area too which is great

and it is good looking at the new discussions to reply too

I guess I'm quite naive - that youde think someone with their own home, money and education would be able to look within at their own behaviour. But silly me.

Truthfully @tyme I feel great that something happened because I wrote a letter - I feel good about that but one volunteers behaviour - I knew she would make my life difficult but how low can you go ? The funny thing for me is that the people she tried to fire up against me, turned up at a meeting to support her stood up and got busy only taking about herself and that she knows everything.

The other thing is @tyme is that I tried to feel all this shock in my body.

I pretty much have spent most days in bed.......

Had an early night last night as I was tired from a long busy week.
