Feeling lost and hopeless about getting into postgrad medicine

Feeling lost and hopeless about getting into postgrad medicine

I’m in my second year of uni and I’ve been feeling completely lost. I’m scared I won’t be able to get into my dream course, postgrad medicine. My first-year results were disappointing, and that’s really shaken my confidence. The GAMSAT feels overwhelming and I just can’t seem to focus on anything. I’ve started to feel hopeless and really dumb. I don’t have any friends at uni, and that’s made it even harder. My family is relying on me to do well, and I feel like I’m letting them down. I don’t know what to do or where to go from here, and it’s been really heavy to carry.

@hihellohey Hi 👋🏼 I’m Glisten. Are you getting enough sleep?

I’m going to tag a couple of friends who are far more eloquent than I.
